Currently licensed to practice in New York

I am a psychiatrist, currently in private practice and in fellowship in public psychiatry at Columbia University. I work at an OnTrackNY program which empowers young people who are newly diagnosed with schizophrenia to make meaning of their experiences and attain their goals for school, work, and relationships.

I enjoy using a combination of therapy and medication management to help adults, particularly young/emerging adults, live a life they find worth living. I am particularly passionate about reproductive mental health, working with women who are pre-, peri-, or post-partum. I also specialize in supporting those with early life trauma and individuals struggling with manic or psychotic conditions. Essential to my approach is the belief that every patient, before we even meet, already has strengths they are bringing to the table that can help them meet their goals.

I completed my residency in Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Prior to residency, I completed a Bachelor’s in Public Policy with a minor in Chemistry at Duke University and subsequently worked at a homeless services agency. I then graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine, where I was peer-nominated into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for compassionate care that recognizes the importance of the human connection in healthcare and peer-nominated for the Cura Personalis Award for exemplifying the principle of “care of the whole person” – attention to the needs of others, respect for unique circumstances and concerns, and appreciation for singular gifts and insights.
