I’m a Psychiatrist in clinical practice in New York, where I provide psychotherapy and medication management for adults and adolescents. My clinical work focuses on trauma and dissociation, helping people reconnect with themselves and find steadier ground after experiences that once felt overwhelming.

Clinically, my work draws is grounded in the belief that healing begins through a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship. I also skills-based and somatic techniques when needed, helping patients link mind and body in the process of change. My background in internal medicine and neuroscience informs a holistic perspective that recognizes the deep interplay between brain, body, and emotion.

I treat a wide range of challenges and conditions, including early-life trauma, dissociative disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, bipolar and psychotic disorders, ADHD, OCD, insomnia, and provide affirming care for LGBTQ+ individuals.

My mission extends beyond the therapy room, I wish to make mental health education more accessible and humane for everyone. I write articles and essays about various topics in mental health, integrating various perspectives from trauma oriented lenses, psychoanalysis, neuroscience and general psychiatry. I am also developed books and other literature for students and trainees in mental health disciplines.

Before specializing in psychiatry, I completed a residency in internal medicine and a psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai. I earned my M.D. from Tel Aviv University, where I conducted research in cardiology and urology, and my B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University, where I studied the neurobiology of memory formation.
