Currently licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut

I am currently in my final year of training in General Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, specializing in adult mental health with a focus on Geriatric Psychiatry.

My practice is dedicated to not just alleviating distress but also guiding individuals toward a life filled with meaning, connection, and joy. I work collaboratively with my patients, fostering a shared curiosity about their inner selves and their aspirations for the future.

I specialize in helping patients navigate the complexities of aging and life transitions, such as identity changes following retirement, coping with the loss of a loved one, and managing challenges like cognitive impairment or Parkinson’s disease. My approach to treatment is holistic, carefully considering physical health, lifestyle, and family dynamics as we create personalized care plans together.

In addition to my geriatric focus, I am experienced in treating mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, insomnia, and psychosis across all age groups. I employ a variety of therapeutic approaches, including insight-oriented psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and pharmacotherapy.

My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Brown University, followed by research in neurodevelopmental disorders such as Christianson syndrome and Angelman syndrome. I then earned my medical degree from The Yale School of Medicine, where I was honored with the Miriam Kathleen Dasey Award for strength of character, integrity, and academic excellence. During my time at Yale, I gained extensive clinical experience and engaged in research projects in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry. Throughout my career I have participated and published research in the field of geriatric psychiatry.
