Currently licensed to practice in New York
I am a licensed psychiatrist currently completing my training in General Psychiatry at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, with plans to pursue a fellowship in Reproductive Psychiatry. My practice focuses on treating adults 18 and older, with a particular emphasis on women’s mental health. My approach integrates both medication management and psychotherapy to provide comprehensive care.
In my work with women, I address the unique challenges they face throughout various life stages. This includes emotional difficulties related to premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), as well as mood changes associated with perimenopause and menopause. I also specialize in supporting women through their reproductive journeys, offering care during preconception planning, fertility challenges, and peripartum mental health. My expertise includes treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, and psychosis during pregnancy and postpartum. My care is individualized, and I often include partners and loved ones in the treatment process when beneficial.
Beyond women’s health, I have extensive experience working with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder across all demographics, regardless of gender identity or sexuality. I particularly enjoy helping individuals navigate life transitions, whether they involve new life stages, careers, or relationships.
Before pursuing my medical and psychiatric training, I earned a master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University and gained experience in various mental health settings, including outpatient clinics, hospital emergency rooms, substance use treatment programs, and psychiatric inpatient units. My background in social work and education informs my patient-centered, empathetic approach to care.
I am dedicated to creating a supportive environment where patients feel heard and understood. My goal is to empower my patients to achieve optimal emotional and personal well-being, guiding them towards lasting mental health and overall a through tailored treatment plans.
